BODY STRUCTURE.
Feen as a character has a gelatinous body composition just like other spirits.
He has the seed in his body that has a leaf already sprouting from it on his "head" which signifies his status as a forest spirit. He has 4 tentacles like other spirits that dangle down that can also serve as limbs. They gently wave when he's floating.

Physics Real World Examples:

1. Core Physics

Float, dodge, jump=pump up like jellyfish, Squeeze

  1. Deformation

    • Movement: Stretches when accelerating, flattens on impact. Tentacles drag after top when moving forward

    • Idle: Top wobbles slightly up and down, tentacles slightly swing back and forth while idle

    • Feeñ can flattens to squeeze through tight spaces

  2. On Water

    • Cannot hover over water for a sustained period of time. The floating only works over earth. Feeñ sinks into water.

    • Moves in water like a jellyfish

  3. Gravity

    • Rolls downhill, accelerates when falling

    • Can move uphill/climb trees, rocks etc. (like a coconut crab)

    • Can be blown by wind or carried by currents (rivers/creeks).

2. Seed Abilities

  1. Pulsing Glow

    • Releases a light shockwave to illuminate the dark or activate bioluminescent flora (limited use)
  2. **Root/Vine

    • Extends a vine to:

      • Grapple onto branches.

      • "Stab"/Connect with enemies (retracts quickly).

      • Connect to Mycelium Network

  3. **Photosynthesis

    • In sunlight, the seed sprouts, Leaves and vines gets bigger (more abilities)

3. Environmental Interactions

3.1. Hazards

  1. Fire

    • On contact:

      • Water evaporates rapidly (Feeñ shrinks).

      • Seed burns or dries out.

  2. Toxins

    • Bubbles, Steam:

      • If contaminated, Feeñ moves slower/lags. Needs to find mushroom and draw mycelium network energy to cleanse. Glow is dimmed and color changes (toxic green)
    • Swamp, Puddles:

      • Slow contamination. If too long in the liquid, Feeñ dies and needs to start at the beginning of the level. Dims Glow

  4. Falling Obstacles/Burning branches

    • Splash Feeñ. Seed must "recollect" water.

3.2. Helpful Elements

  1. Dew Pools/Clear Puddles/Rain etc.

    • Restore water volume (drop grows larger/heavier).

3.3. Dynamic Systems

  1. Evaporation

    • Hot areas drain water over time, Feeñ shrinks
  2. Currents

    • Flowing water carries Feeñ
  3. Condensation

    • Cold areas freeze Feeñ and take his floating ability. Can only move on the ground (slippery, crushes enemies).

  1. Water Memory

    • Absorb "memory drops" to rewind time 3 seconds (limited use).
  2. Plant Pollen

    • Release collected pollen to distract enemies or attract pollinators.
