Feeñ Awakening Monolog

“Before I fell dormant, I felt everything that had ever been felt at once. A universal memory taking over, a truth everything abided by. And for a brief moment, I knew that truth. The warm and temperate gusts of early summer.Herbal scents of wild flowers swirling from rolling hills to the edges of the forest. A silent winter. And rays of sunshine giving shape to matter. All that was true.

I was pulled upward by the One force, the branches of the last trees on the highest mountains slipping out of reach. Then, with a sudden slow-down, I broke through the clouds. Pastel colours transitioned into the darkest hues of Blue. Until Earth was as far away as all the other stars, glowing in the distance. My form slowly dispersed into the darkness. And by becoming part of it, I forgot everything.

_You too have forgotten. In the beginning, when primal waves softly rippled through the emptiness of will, you were there. Amongst the order and chaos, the serenity and violence, you were present. But you’ve forgotten how to know. You once knew that there is no virtue in the universe without the virtue in its parts. For every day you create the One force, and it creates you._

_When you increasingly turned to your own reflection, we came to witness the rise and fall of your cities, so large, nobody amongst you ever imagined that wind and water, fire and ice would erase them. Each believed to be forever. You created many things. And for a long time, it was in accordance with life. You spoke to us in the forests, on plains and mountaintops, at the shores of lakes and rivers, at the seaboard and on vast oceans. Together we safeguarded mystery, the source of imagination.

But you grew distant over time. Until you believed to be everything. And as we disappeared, so did the forests. Rivers courses changed and the land was parched. Witches and wizards were the last to see us. And when you set them ablaze, your memories of our unity scattered with the ashes.”

Rough Draft

“I felt everything that has ever been felt at once. That’s how I fell dormant. A universal
memory taking over. A truth everything abided by. In that brief moment, I knew that
truth. The warm and temperate gusts of early summer.Herbal scents of wild flowers
swirling from rolling hills to the edges of the forest. A long winters silence. The wafts
of mist passing over transparent lakes and rays of sunshine giving shape to matter. I
saw fire and ice, water and wind reshape the world. All that was true.

I was pulled upwards by the irresistible force. The meagre branches of the last
trees on the highest mountains slipped out of reach at an ever-increasing pace. With
a sudden slow-down, I broke through the clouds, turned and fell faster and faster
toward the sky. Pastel colours gradually transitioned into the darkest Blue around me
until Earth was as far away as all the stars, glowing in the distance. I was safe in their
midst. My form slowly dispersed into the darkness. And by becoming part of it, I forgot
everything.”

“Destroyer of worlds within worlds! You too have forgotten. When nothing yet was,
you were nothing too. Through emptiness soon rippled waves of will. Chaos into
order, serenity into violence. You were present before the fire in your eyes ignited...
But you’ve forgotten how to know. Now you seek guidance from what you are part of.
Yet the One force is merely your reflection. It feels what you feel and speaks when
you speak. At last I understood. When it washed over me. Overwhelmed me. Tore
me apart, assembled me anew: There is no virtue in the universe without the virtue in
its parts. And you won’t find in its vastness whatever you seek if you don’t find it
within yourself. So learn to know again what you can’t see or smell, feel, hear or
taste. As you once did. For fear haunts the forgetful.”

We saw the rise and fall of your cities, so large, nobody amongst you ever imagined
that fire and ice, water and wind would erase them. Each believed to be forever. You
created many things. And for a time, it was in accordance with the One force. You
spoke to us in the forests, on plains and mountaintops, at the shores of the lakes and
rivers, at the seaboard and on the waters of vast oceans. You understood yourselves
as part of a whole. Together we safeguarded mystery, the source of imagination. But
you grew distant over time. And then found ways to harness our power. And as we
disappeared, so did the forests. Rivers courses changed and the land was parched.
Witches and wizards were the last to see us. And when you set them ablaze, your
memories of our unity scattered with the ashes.”
